My Story

Jane’s Hearth Haven began with something quite simple — my love of crafting and the joy I find in creating something that can bring a little happiness to someone else.

I’ve always loved making things, but over time crafting became much more than a hobby. It became a way for me to slow down, be creative and lose myself in a project for a while. There is something rather special about taking an idea, a blank piece or a few simple materials and turning them into something that someone else can treasure.

That is the heart of Jane’s Hearth Haven.

I create handmade and personalised gifts, home décor and keepsakes, along with custom creations made with a particular person, occasion or memory in mind. From little gifts made simply to bring a smile, to memorial pieces created to hold a special memory close, each item is made with care and a little piece of me in it.

My journey with Jane’s Hearth Haven hasn’t always been straightforward. I now understand that the tiredness and pain I experienced for many years are part of living with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) and Osteoarthritis. Some days are easier than others, but crafting has given me something positive to focus on and a way to keep creating at my own pace.

I love the personal side of crafting most of all. Sometimes it is a customer’s idea that starts a project, sometimes it is a special occasion, and sometimes it is a memory that deserves to be turned into something tangible. Being able to create something that feels personal and meaningful is what makes this little business so special to me.

And there is another part of Jane’s Hearth Haven that matters to me just as much — giving something back.

Every sale helps raise a donation to a good cause — visit the dedicated page to see who Jane’s Hearth Haven is currently supporting.

So when you buy something from my little haven, you’re not just taking home something I’ve made. You’re helping me continue doing something I love, while helping support a good cause along the way.

Thank you for being here, for taking the time to get to know a little about me and for supporting my small business.

I hope you find something here that makes you smile, brings back a lovely memory, or simply feels like it belongs in your home.
